A clear package boundary is more useful than an equipment price without the surrounding scope.

Electrical and mechanical supply categories
Typical requirements include motors, drives, panels, cables, lighting, instrumentation, pumps and valves. The relevant selection information varies by item: an electric motor needs its duty and mounting details, while a process instrument needs measurement and connection information.
Provide project datasheets and the approved equipment schedule where available. If there are approved manufacturers or replacement standards, identify them before sourcing begins. Alternatives can then be treated as a defined technical decision rather than an unrecorded purchasing substitution.
Balance supply with installation readiness
A delivery date is useful only when the installation team can receive and use the equipment. Confirm available storage, offloading arrangements and the readiness of foundations, connections and supporting infrastructure. Separate urgent replacement work from planned upgrades.

Prepare your energy procurement brief
Include the site, equipment schedule, electrical characteristics or process duty, required documents and programme. State whether the enquiry is supply-only or whether installation and commissioning support should be scoped. Identify any existing plant interface that the supplier must consider.
